2017 Pow-Wow and Rendezvous Days

August 11 - August 13

The Grand Portage Band of Minnesota Chippewa holds a traditional Pow-Wow adjacent to the National Monument the same weekend as the Rendezvous, sponsored by the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.

Visitors and tribal members alike are invited to watch and participate in ceremonial pow-wow dances. Vendors offer a wide selection of arts, crafts and Native American food. The Grand Portage Pow-Wow is an alcohol free event. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Grand Portage Band and its heritage.

Admission is free.

No drugs or alcohol permitted on Pow-Wow Grounds. Schedule subject to change.
