Thank you all so much for everything you did to make our wedding a huge success! It was truly perfect and even more than we could have hoped for. We're so glad we chose Lutsen Resort for our wedding-the setting was breathtaking and every person we worked with before and during the weekend was so accommodating and wonderful. We're so grateful for the extra time we got to spend with our guests by making it a whole weekend affair. It was truly memorable and everyone is still talking about it and sharing photos. A special thanks to Beth for braving the elements to set up our crazy outdoor ceremony-we're so glad we stuck with the plan-thanks for all your help and encouragement! Thank you also for the newspaper clipping! What a hoot-we love it!
Thanks again to everyone-from the stunning location, the beautiful townhomes/condos/rooms, the spa, the ceremony and the reception (the food was amazing and still being talked about!) to the windy and wild bonfire-we had an amazing and unforgettable time!

This was our 15th year coming to the "Lodge". We love it. We are building "life memories" for our kids. We drive 14 hours from Indiana to get here. We would pay $10 a gallon for gas to come here. Kim at the front desk was great checking us in when we got here. Made sure we had the best room-#332-down the hall from Mr. Nelson's suite. Adam and Bryan are the best activities guys. Adam, thanks for the advice to use the "Wolly Bugger" fly. I got three fish when I switched while fishing at the higher bridge. Our kids love Bryan-still talk about him even from last summer on the Moose Night-Hike last year. Elaina-(activities person last summer)-my kids still talk about her as their "fly fishing teacher"-how cool-she was from Indiana-where we are from. Thanks for the memories.
P.S. Did you hear my son Nicholas (7 years old) was swimming out front and saw the Voyageur canoe start floating out away from shore? He caught it and held it until I got it back.
P.S.S. Already booked for 2009. One suggestion-give guided "Lundie" tour of the Lutsen Lodge-would love to learn and see more. The Lundies features are nice.

In March of 2009, my fiance and I started at one end of the covered bridge (over the Poplar River) as single people and got off the bridge on the other end as a married couple. The food that was served for our meal (37 total guests) is still being raved about as with the friendliness of the entire staff and the accomodations. If we talked about all the beauty and excellence of this trip, we would run out of room. Lutsen is higly recommended by all that attended this wedding, even the warm blooded folks from Arizona and Florida loved it!
A soul-filled weekend on Lake Superior with superb food and wine
We spent the weekend at the cozy, northwoods lodge during a wine and food weekend. The food was fabulous and the wines were memorable. Everyone was courteous from the reception desk to the waiters. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. This was a great place to unwind and slow one's pace from a hectic life!
