Kristen Reich

Assistant Director, Recreation and Activities

Originally hailing from the windswept plains of Bismarck, ND, Kristen is beyond excited to be at Lutsen Resort for her first year as Assistant Director of Activities and Recreation!  Kristen landed at Lutsen Resort after completing her Master’s degree in Recreation Management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.  Before that, she was privileged to spend a year as a Graduate Naturalist just down the road at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Finland, MN, which inspired her to keep wanting to share the magic of the North Shore and its stories with others.  Kristen’s first experience in Northern Minnesota was a dogsledding trip during her time in college at the University of Minnesota.  This trip immediately led her to fall in love with the area, and she is so excited to have guests experience the special things that it has to offer!  In her spare time, Kristen loves cooking, crafting, socializing, kayaking, music, and spending time with her beloved pets, Dakota the horse and Binkers the bunny
