Lutsen Resort's Spring Waterfall Excursion

This day long adventure will highlight the North Shore's best waterfalls. With all the rainfall and snowmelt that spring brings, our rivers and waterfalls rage through steep and narrow rock canyons. At no other time of the year can this torrent of water be experienced. We will hit some of the well known falls, such as the Cascade River, and some of the lesser known falls, such as the Kadunce River. Order a box lunch from our kitchen the night before the excursion.

Some hiking will be encouraged, be prepared. Come prepared with footwear suited for rough trails and some sloppy conditions. Don’t forget to bring your cameras, video cameras and water bottles. If we are lucky we may even see some great wildlife and some world class whitewater kayakers along the way.
