HIKING
& WILDLIFE

taking a short stroll or a longer trek, the area has
some of the best hiking in the state. Enjoy the
hiking along the Superior
Hiking Trail as well as the many nearby State
Parks. Hawks, eagles, grouse, deer, fox and moose
may be seen. |
MOUNTAIN
BIKING
Mountain biking is a favorite activity in
the area. Try the excitement of Lutsen
Mountain's Bike Park or head out on the gravel roads
and forest trails nearby.

CROSS
COUNTRY SKIING
The North
Shore comes alive in the winter for cross country
skiing enthusiasts. The North Shore Ski Trail
has 150 km. of groomed trails through incredible
country. Free use of XC ski equipment is
