Spring Kayaking Adventure

Resort’s Spring Kayak adventure is the perfect opportunity to kick off your paddling season! The adventure is designed for people that are looking to enhance their paddling skills
and beginners with the desire to learn. The course will include an ACA Coastal Kayaking course the first day, and a full day tour the next. All food and lodging is included during your stay.

Hansel leads you on a learning experience to some of the most beautiful out-of-the-way locations
for making great fall color images. Workshop time is divided
between the classroom -learning about metering, manual camera
controls, lighting, composition - and the field. Evenings are
spent peer reviewing the day's images. A digital camera is

Creative Nature

Join artist Amy Voytilla and photographer Bryan Hansel for a
unique weekend of exploring your inner creativity through multiple
artistic media, writing, and poetry. Explore the Lake Superior
shoreline during the month of dreaming, learn to connect with a
moment of Zen, and end each day sampling fine wines. A camera and
an open mind are required.
Cross Country Ski

A Nordic skiing workshop for the fitness skier or casual racer.
Each day is divided into technique coaching and a mid-to-long
distance ski, both skating and classic. A waxing clinic in the
evening ensures fast skis for your day on the trail! Refresh your

Winter Photography Adventure

Lutsen Resort is offering a unique opportunity to get off the
beaten track and into the wild winter Northland backcountry. Join
professional photographer Bryan Hansel and expert backcountry
guide Adam Harju on snowshoe treks into untouched areas "where
nobody goes." There, Adam leads a search for animal tracks, try to
find wolf, moose, pine marten, owls and other animals. Bryan
helps you capture great pictures of ice formations, winter
landscapes, and then you'll have ample time to capture the

Winter Women’s Adventure

An opportunity for women to adventure with, and learn from, other women while in the beautiful North Woods. Experience winter on snowshoes and cross-country skis, take a spin behind a dog team, relax with yoga and much more!
