Naturalist Programs
The Lutsen area is dominated by the natural world and teeming with wildlife. A variety of naturalists and nature programs are available without cost to area travelers. The Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center offers a variety of programs throughout the year at its Lake Superior site.
Throughout the summer, the Forest Service offers programs at area resorts where you can learn about wolves, bears, moose, the Voyageurs and much more.
Lutsen Resort guests often gather by a campfire on the resort beach to listen to a naturalist in the evening.
